Courses feature progressive language and comprehension, as well as the opportunity to interact with other students and practice signs. This is NOT an Interpreter Training Program, but successful completion of these classes will provide you with a strong, conversational knowledge of American Sign Language.
Levels 1 & 2 take students through the basics of ASL. Students are taught the manual alphabet, numbers, and basic fundamentals of signing and vocabulary. Students experience hands-on use of ASL by attending events. Levels 3 & 4 continue to expand ASL skills.
Instructors: ASL instructors who are fluent ASL signers teach all of our community education classes.
Note: A total of 8 students must be registered and paid for classes to be held. Contact CSHC to confirm. |
